Stephanie Kealy

Alumni

(Ecology, MS), Graduated with a MS 2018. C2R2 Fellowship

After graduation, Stephanie was a Project Lead for the NASA DEVELOP program at the Langley location. Her work with coastal resilience was what made her an appropriate Lead for DEVELOP’s work with connecting stakeholders to improve resilience within the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. When that 3 month project was complete, she moved back up to the NYC metropolitan area. She began a position as an adjunct at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn (teaching students how to communicate science research via art), and resumed her work both as an adjunct/lab instructor at Brookdale CC and outdoor educator with the Monmouth County Parks. In September 2020, she started her first full time teaching gig at Morristown Beard School in Morristown, NJ. She has enjoyed 3 years teaching high school level biology and environmental science. However, her heart really misses working outdoors! She will be concluding her formal teaching career in June, 2023, and will be transitioning to a new career in digital content creation. She intends to create videos that educate the public about science and nature at local parks.
